Hi Don,

Any information as to where and when your paper will be published?

Thanks!

Hey Again Will,

Well, just by way of encouragement I would say, never underestimate the power of a group of devoted Lilliputians working on a common problem. Even the biggest computer is built chip by chip...

Despite Chris's long posting on MBs, I actually don't think you do know much or most of our evidence for Abraham 2:18f being a Nauvoo production. So maybe we're both in for surprises...!

In any case, I'll look forward to the full presentation of the case you describe. May the best ideas win.

I have long since concluded that the debate will most certainly outlive us. Same with the various debates swirling around the Book of Mormon. In fact, it almost seems to me--at times--as though the whole thing was meticulously set up to produce precisely the quasi-equilibrium between arguments pro and con that we see (well, I doubt both regard it in those terms, but you get the idea); thereby placing the question of historicity/authenticity/divine origins/etc. in a purely metaphysical setting. Which, I suppose, is where it ought to remain.

OK, back to the freshly-turned soil I love so much ...
