You start out listing behaviors here ("his highly defensive nature and the lashing out at those he perceives as “enemies,” his inability to admit he’s wrong, the constant reminders of his credentials...") which may indeed fit your basic premise and which all occur on this board... and then you digress into an activity that has never been exhibited here (a supposed eating disorder).
Your knowledge of eating disorders is obviously nil and your attribution of one to Daniel shows your ignorance of both the disorders themselves and Daniel. Just because a person is a tad bit overweight doesn't mean they have an eating disorder. Daniel doesn't have to be skinny, average, or in shape in order to participate here, give a cogent argument, or snipe at someone. His shape has nothing to do with MDB and your constant introduction of it into too many discussions show your inability to focus on both the subject of the thread and the substance of Daniel's posts. Were you able to give a cogent argument against what he posts, you wouldn't have to drag irrelevant references to his weight into the discussion. His weight is as irrelevant to any discussion here as yours is.
Well what a shock! You don't agree with me.
Clearly, weight is a hot-button issue for you. It doesn't surprise me in the least that you're responding this way.
I know more about eating disorders than perhaps you'd like to acknowledge, and what you think of my knowledge in this area means little to me, given your own expressed views on the matter.
And it would also seem you suffer from monolithic thinking, combining me with every other poster who's spoken about weight issues, imagining that I tend to bring up Dan's weight to deflect from the meat of his posts (assuming he actually did post something with substance), but I believe this might be the second time I've ever even mentioned his weight in the several years I've been posting on MAD and here. I'm not critical of his weight; I'm actually sympathetic. Obesity is a serious problem in the US.
I recommend you don't post on this issue, only because your emotional investment is betrayed by the lack of sense you make when you talk about it. (Of course, I have no doubt you will continue...)
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
