Good grief.
I didn't spread anything about Quinn. I was one of the last, believer or unbeliever, member or non-member, in the relatively small circle of "Mormon studies" people to know. It was a rather well known figure prominently associated with a liberal/dissenting fringe-Mormon publication who first mentioned Quinn's homosexuality to me (and my friend Todd Compton). Neither one of us had suspected, nor had we asked. He was surprised that we didn't know.
Your effort to paint me as somebody who ran breathlessly about spreading the news -- a depiction dependent entirely upon the efforts of the malevolent Scratch -- is utterly misguided.
I was simply present when Quinn's orientation was mentioned. Perhaps as many as half a dozen times over several years. Perhaps not that often. Since everybody knew about it, it was no big deal. It wasn't a big topic for discussion.

What "behavior"?

If Dr. Scratch has something better I'd like to see it, but I'm not sure he's going to produce it. It's put up or shut up, IMHO.
He's got nothing. He can
have nothing. Nothing true, anyway.
