It's interesting that you tend to be overly cautious about making judgments about church leaders' actions, but you're quite happy to condemn "apostates" without a second thought.
That's because there is almost always clear evidence against apostates.
I can say that the husband of my wife's college roommate did admit to the bishop that he had been naked in the same room on at least 3 occasions with the other woman but that "nothing" happened. How can you been naked in the same room and also be carrying on a secret relationship for 3 years and have "nothing" happen.

He may be lying, but the bishop can only go on what he says or evidence that implicates him on a more serious violation of church rules.
Maybe nothing of *consequence* happened. Likely, she wasn't impressed by his naked body. You can't count it if she didn't find heaven in the experience.
Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

The real difference is the ability to see other POV's. Those who have this ability tend to be much more open minded, while those who don't tend to be very close minded. Unfortunately I haven't seen you demonstrate this ability very well.

So it only counts if she say's "Oh God!" during the encounter. :)

It is true that Bishops are different from person to person, but it is also true that they need some evidence and/or a confession above and beyond a he said she said sort of thing. In any case, it is likely you will never get enough information to accurately and correctly judge this case as confidences will be kept.
I respect your position but I can assure you that both of these women are deeply hurt by what their husbands did and were deeply disappointed that nothing happened. They both were very strong in their church. One ended up divorcing her husband and has left the church. The other is seriously considering it but because she stopped going to school and worked to put her husband though school and then became a stay at home mom, she is now faced with no job skills in a poor economy. She is scared of what will happen if she leaves him. A bad situation for anyone to be in let alone to be a newly divorce mom with 4 kids at home.

I've known enough people who have been badly treated by church leaders over the years, but it seems to me that bishops are human and make mistakes, often really bad, stupid mistakes. My father taught us to expect failures and mistakes from our leaders, and my sister and I have never been disappointed.

Simple. She was a painter, and he was just modeling for her.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"
If these men held the Melch PH, they would not be "dealt" with by their Bishops. It would have been a Stake Disciplinary Council. Discipline can only be administered to men by the big shots.
