Her husband.

Moderators always use red text, never blue text. So Aristotle Smith himself wrote that, not a moderator.
Sleep tight.

No.
The forum “rules” are so pliable that there is a virtual cornucopia of reasonable interpretations that result from it. It’s aggravating to posters because there doesn’t seem to be any consistency on what is acceptable and not acceptable on any given forum. The end result is similar to roulette, we don’t know what side of the line a post is on, because it all depends on who gets to it first.
honorentheos wrote:I used to play a lot of indoor soccer while in college. Like all sports but in particular ones where the referees were as amatuer as the people playing, every game included calls that were inconsistent and sometimes even lop-sided. Some games more than others, but it's the nature of sport.
We invited a friend to play with us for a couple of seasons. The reason we stopped inviting him was because he would stop playing and throw a huge fit every time he thought he was given a bad call. Only the game didn't stop for him to bitch so we'd end up playing a man down while he fumed about the call. We literally had to carry him off the field once because he would not keep playing and got a red card for yelling at the ref when the game was very close.
I've never known a sport where the calls were always consistent or predicable. I've never known the best of the competitors to stop playing to bitch about them, either.
I think your OP brings up a good point. I just don't see it being anything more than the nature of the game.
Now, I DID wonder why your "ground floor" post was moved. That was easily the best post in that thread in skimming though it recently. But then, I was taking the express elevator down that particular OP anyway when I first read it so maybe I missed the real value in the OP but was struck by how appropriately funny your second post was. Oh well.
