Then why don't they allow one? Infact they expressly forbid one, why?
I don't think you have your facts straight tobin.
If you give an answer I want quotes.

Why should they allow one? If there is nothing there, and you dig around and demonstrate there is nothing there. You just proved there is nothing there as we already knew. As you asked, it is "pointless". There simply is no reason to do it in the first place.hatersinmyward wrote:Then why don't they allow one? I don't think you have your facts straight tobin.

Which apostles and leaders? And who has said there is something there? It is common knowledge that God has the plates so what do you expect to find in Mormon hill? You seem very interested in digging some dirt up on Mormonism. In this case, it is actual dirt which is a very interesting take on the phrase.hatersinmyward wrote:The Apostles or any other leadership has never stated there was nothing there.

They don't let you dig around on other Church property either and carry it off. And there may be artifacts on the hill like stone arrow heads and so on. However, there is no gold book there so there is no point in digging up the place to find one.hatersinmyward wrote:Why do they expressly forbid the excavation of it then?
When have they stated the hill may or may not bare artifacts?
hatersinmyward wrote:okay,
Now address my second paragraph.

When a Mormon compares the validity of the Bible to the Book of Mormon, you can then ask them the question, Are you christian? Because they aren't christian if they are speculating to the validity of the New Testament. If a Mormon speculates to the validity of the Old Testament, Ask them if they argue the existence of the Neanderthal. Ask them If they Believe Adam/Michale to be the first born man and Eve the first woman as their temple teaches... Ask did Jesus not say I'm the alpha and the omega.
Oh that. I didn't address it because it makes little sense to me. I believe in God, the Bible and evolution. I also believe the account in Genesis about Adam and Eve is mostly symbolic. Other than that, I have no idea what that means to you about me being a Christian or not. Nor do I care.hatersinmyward wrote:When a Mormon compares the validity of the Bible to the Book of Mormon, you can then ask them the question, Are you christian?
