Zee, nice question.

I enjoyed the photo with the question but I wondered if that was a real cowboy or a sophisticated fashion shot designed to sell us on something.It is a bit like Marshall Dillon in Gunsmoke, but not quite. It is not quite Pendleton roundup. Maybe the big space to take a leak captures the big west myth.

It certainly is different than an image of God as a corporation man surrounded by layers and layers of designated authorities. A corporate figure so entwined with rules he cannot decide to do anything except continue the corporate program. I wonder where that image would come from?.

I like the big space a cowboy crosses. I like that a cowboy might enjoy some of the cappiness of his job. But if you ask a cowboy how you are doing a cowboy might say "figure that out yourself".

Can God ware that?
