You said something that alluded to that effect on a reply to Kishkumen in this thread.

Your posts could easily be cut-and-paste from the thousands of other posts that have been done over the years, which is why I, for the most part, don't bother much with boards anymore. DCP learned his lesson about this board ages ago, but unfortunately, I haven't.
I am sorry I bored you. You are bored, but yet several posts later you are still on here engaging me. One thing that I do when I become bored is I usually move on to something I find more engaging and enjoyable. It makes life more satisfactory.

I know what you mean.

I am happy very happy being out of the church. I see life differently and I like what I see and my relationship with my wife and family has been deeply improved. I am not happy that Mormonism is not what it claims to be. sometimes I feel like the 26 years I was involved in the church was a waste and clouded my judgement on some significant moments in my life. Luckily I am fairly young and am happy that I came to this realization earlier rather than 40 years from now. I reflect on my mission with bittersweet thoughts. On one hand, I enjoyed the journey and the great friendships I made, on the other hand I feel guilty for baptizing all the people I did and I hope I did not cause them any undo harm or stress later on in life.

Thanks for the advice except I don't drink. Wait a minute? Do you think I left the church cuz I wanted to sin and party it up? I left because I was offended.

Just kidding. I left strictly because after studying the church and its history and scientific problems facing the Book of Mormon and Book of Abraham. About 9-10 years ago I was preparing a lesson for my Gospel Doctrine class. I decided to turn to the internet and you probably know the rest of the story. It took several years of study before I reached the final conclusion. It didn't happen overnight. All in all, I can trace it to not following the admonishment in the lesson manual that said something to the effect of "Don't seek or use any material that is in this manual or the scriptures while preparing the lessons." Now I know why that caveat is in there.
You have a good night as well.
Tapirs... Yeah... That's the ticket!
