Actually Nort, based on the only other break in standard operating procedure here at MDB which I have observed in over three years of regular activity here (the perma banning of Jersey Girl), it was my impression that Shades dug his heels in and let personal animosity drive a personally biased, bad decision. I assumed he would dig in his heels again with this strange (for this site) moderating decision and what also appears to be some personal bias.
This "project" is far bigger than you could imagine, RockSlider. I could be lying about everything or nothing at all. There could be 1 of us in the "temple committee" or 100 of us. We could have a General Authority on our team or it's just me and a homeless guy that sits outside of Temple Square.
What you don’t get Nort, is that I don’t give a crap about you or your committee. It seems I'm not alone in this. Your self aggrandizement will soon enough come to an end. You are no-body, and threaten no-body, and as you should have seen already with the tapes you have released … no one cares.
And it's just killing you that YOU are the one who seems to have no control over what YOU want with this "old thread" issue.
It's quite amusing. And I suspect Shades thinks so too. I dunno, I don't have his phone number so I can't call and ask him. ;-)
I somehow doubt that Shades thinks this is funny. The whole reason this board exists and is popular today is because of what Shades worked very hard to establish … an extremely low moderation board that encourages free speech. A board with a history of perma bans you can count on one hand, one that, until you came along, never had a thread closed or removed (other than by legal threat in my understanding).
In my mind, my wanting to have the thread returned is a matter of restoring what this board was suppose to stand for, and a desire to try and understand why Shades would have made such an unusual exception to the years of standard practice that has been establish here.
Other than that it has NOTHING to do with you or your agenda. Its a matter of principle ... something of which you obviously would not understand.
