Good to see you post here again though given the backlash for doing so at MD&D you may want to limit it here lest you be accused of consorting with anti-Mormons where it seems that being nice to those with whom you disagree is equivalent to supporting them.
Haha, thanks. I've had others tell me the same. Although... I'm not really worried about it. I'm not supporting anti-mormons by posting here. If anything... it's the opposite.
And nah, I'd disagree; while the mods aren't perfect, I don't think they aren't quite as strict as you think they are.
Count me also as one who would love to see Will published, though he seems to be his own worst enemy when it comes to that.
Cools.
As far as mind reading goes, since I do not know either you or Will in real life, I can only judge by what I read online.
Yeah, but, at least in my experiences, you can also see a shadow of what they do in real life too. Actually... there's a good example in social hall, for Will. He likes taking photography. You don't usually hear things like that though, in apologetic threads. And the tone of the threads is different; from this, you can sort of see that he behaves differently in real life than online. Now obviously, you can't read too much into it, but you can sort of see the difference, if you know what I mean.
Should I not evaluate you based on what I see in your posts also?
Definitely.
Frankly I don't understand this reasoning that says "hey cut this guy/girl a break- in real life he is really a nice person".
That isn't the reason, actually... I don't know how nice Will is or isn't in real life. But to call Will an attention freak in real life (which was what the person was doing), seems out of character with the tone of his Social Hall threads, which relate to photography, and I correlate with in real life. And so I said I believed it was better to withhold judgement on the issue.
For me bad or good behavior is a reflection of the person period. I don't really care where it takes place.
It is. but I've also had scenarios where people are very reflective of their environment. While I was growing up, I met many people, who were very good people when socializing with me individually, but not so good of people when socializing in groups. Because the internet and real life environments are a bit different, people are likely to behave differently in real life than on the internet.
Of course, that's up to your judgement, indeed it is.
Thanks though!
