However, according to experts in this area, it turns out that if Ray does not like my making vulgar, sexualized comments about his daughters, then it means that:

1. Ray is assassinating my character; or
2. Ray is simply furthering his agenda; or
3. Ray is terrified that my compelling theories will see the light of day; or
4. Ray hates everyone who shares any common beliefs with me; or
5. All of the above.

I see the point you are trying to make Darth, but this is a terrible way to go about it.

Unfortunately, there was only one way to make the point about Ray's special pleading, and that was by observing his reaction.

And wonder of wonders, he took the bait and got offended instead of immediately recognizing my comment as the facetious sarcasm that it was, and writing it off as such.

That's why he mounted a ridiculous counterattack trying to get MsJack to denounce me, because otherwise he would have to admit his double standard.

That's what Schryver was doing when he made the comment to Kimberly Ann about "getting her fat ass back in the kitchen". MsJack took that quote totally out of context.

The double-standard here is a joke.

Was that before or after the moderators changed what he wrote?

Hi, Ludd. How nice of you to drool when I rang the bell.

So Ludd, in your considered opinion, should my comment about Ray's daughters being crack whores be examined in context of my overall behavior on this board toward females?

And Ludd, if you would be so kind, please explain how Fratello Schryver's remark about KA getting her fat ass back in the kitchen was meant to prove a point about her special pleading on some issue.

Do you feel that women find it amusing to be told that they have a fat ass? Would you mind if one or more females here on the board made unfavorable remarks about the size of certain parts of Willam Schryver's anatomy?

Well, you do engage in sexual and sexist humor with the women of the board regularly, just like Ludd, I mean Will, I mean... er.... uh... yeah.

Here, let's have Ludd put Fratello Schyrver's comment in context.

Here is the thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5519&p=136267&hilit=kitchen#p136267

In a thread about Lamanites and the genetics of Native Americans, William Schryver said this to Liz, after she failed to be convinced by certain of his assertions:

Go away, Lizzie. This conversation is over your pretty little head. You want to moderate my comments, go right ahead. Put some bite in your bitchiness."

Then KimberlyAnn said:

What an unwarranted display of hubris! Will Schryver, I doubt anything you could come up with is over Liz's head, and I can assure you it wouldn't be over mine.

I'm going on a fifteen year old memory, but I believe you're still off by sixty or so years with Charlemagne. He may be called by some the "Father of Europe", but his progeny numbered around twenty, if I remember correctly (and I usually do), so I doubt that should be taken literally.

Also, thank you for exemplifying the sexist attributes of Mormon Priesthood holders. I enjoy pointing out the sexism inherent in Mormonism, and your above post does nothing but prove me right.

KA

Then Fratello Schryver ripostes thusly when Liz still fails to be convinced by his arguments about Father Lehi's DNA:

By the way, I know you’re sticking around simply because I told you the conversation was over “your pretty little head.”

In retrospect, I have no idea if you even have a “pretty little head.” You see, I am as handsome as my avatar suggests, but I have serious doubts that you are as good looking as your avatar would lead us believe. I’ll bet you’re a wrinkled middle-aged woman with varicose veins and more good years behind you than ahead of you. Right? ;-)

Which Liz indicates she does not appreciate:

Oh, let's not allow the fact that Will is a TBM get him off the hook that easily.

Somehow, I get the impression that Will would be a sexist, arrogant asshole in any given situation, Mormon or not.

I have little respect for someone who follows around Runtu's posts like a puppy dog, sends barely veiled threats his way, and then is in genuine wonderment when Runtu turns down his creepy invitation to lunch.

Leading to Fratello Schryver's riposte to KimberlyAnn:

I'm quite well known for my "unwarranted display of hubris."

But it's nothing my 15-year-old daughter's sharp tongue can't rip to shreds.

Charlemagne (Charles I) lived in the second half of the 8th century A.D. And I think you're right that he had about 20 children. And I'll bet we're distant cousins because we both descend from him and several of his posterity. He's back about 50 generations for me. I can go back another 25 or so from him to a Roman ruler of Gaul who died in 6 A.D.

Oh, and by the way, my "sexist attributes" are not the exclusive province of the "Mormon Priesthood holder." I'm just a normal man. Well, probably a whole lot more manly than many of the "men" I see posting on this board. Most of them have been so utterly emasculated by our oppressive modern feminazi culture that they are only a couple of testosterone molecules shy of being eunuchs.

Now get your fat ass back in the kitchen and whip up a batch of cookies before I slap you silly.

<grin>

I like you KA. I'll bet you'd look good in a tanktop, too. ;-)

And his response to Liz:

Lizzie:

I would tell you to kiss my ass, but you would enjoy it too much.

No. I am quite certain I would not. Even if you shaved first.

It is very clear from the thread that Schryver is saying that anyone who is not convinced by his unsupported assertions is stupid, and that any females who are not persuaded by his reasoning have various deficiencies related to their gender roles.

So Ludd, please inform the board:

1. In what way exactly MsJack took Schryver's statements out of context.
2. In what way exactly the above exchange is analogous to my making an obviously facetious remark to Ray in order to expose his special pleading.

Major corporations fear facing Darth in the courtroom.
