It doesn't matter. Even giving the general gist of a PM on the board itself is a no-no.
Morley wrote:Ludwig, will you give Shades permission to quote your PMs?
Permission to quote PMs cannot be granted.

I wholeheartedly agree. The idea of expending the Herculean effort required to--gasp!--click on a link instead of having it auto-display is almost more than I can bear. In fact, it's so devastating that I'm an inch away from curling up in the fetal position and rocking to and fro on the floor in a semi-catatonic state.

"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Re: Free ludwigm!
I received Shades' explanation via PM. Although he asked me not to post it here (and I will respect that), he did state that I could copy-and-paste it in PMs to others or in chat. If anyone wants a copy, just let me know.
Re: Free ludwigm!
I don't know if this is part of the reason, but I've seen a couple things posted that we're pretty out there. (Once a cartoon depiction of rape). I doubt Shades came to the decision lightly.

Permission to quote PMs cannot be granted.
Thanks, Shades. Three items:
1. So, if I want something to be off-limits for board discussion, all I have to do is to PM the details to anyone I don't want discussing it. Right?
2. I'm not sure I understand why "[p]ermission to quote PMs cannot be granted." Please explain.
3. I PMed you for the Ludwig explanation, since you don't seem to want the matter discussed in public fora.

That is 100% correct.

It's the other way around: The contents of PMs are off-limits for board discussion. (In other words, this rule can't be used to retroactively shut down a conversation that's already underway.)
2. I'm not sure I understand why "[p]ermission to quote PMs cannot be granted." Please explain.
Because we learned through hard experience that when only one party posted his or her own PMs, the other party was obliged to post his or her own PMs too in order to give his or her side, when that second party probably wished to keep the conversation confidential, which completely obviated the point of having the rule in the first place. Another way it obviates the rule is that even one side granting permission causes the board to devolve into "PMDiscussions.com" instead of "MormonDiscussions.com," which is another big thing the rule was meant to prevent.
If you want to know the contents of a private message or series of private messages, then send a PM to the originator or receiver of the private message(s) and have him or her copy-and-paste them to you.

1. Should I assemble our correspondence, and PM it to everybody who commented this thread? Or only for those who demand it?
None.
If Shades do it, then be it. (Even "Permission to quote PMs cannot be granted.")
2. All the same, if I post the link, or make a picture entry on the telestial, then link that. by the way there were deleted links, too - without comment.
3. There is no # rule about pictures or style of pictures. Even the relationship with celestial-telestial. by the way see one of my comments. Please!
4. I don't care. The whole thing, as is.

The ONLY disadvantage was: there were no boundaries drawn.
The artists should TRY to overstep the boundaries to detect - then draw for themselves - for them. All who failed become pariahs or niggahs.
