Notice the answers are called faithful, not truthful.

They are synonymous. Alma 32:21

No, no they are not. Not when the answer FAIR provides at times are faithful to the narrative without being true to history.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

That is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

I noticed at the end of the FAIR ad they encourage people with questions to contact them. I wonder if they will be treated similar to the way people with shaken faith syndrome are treated on MDD.

1. Ask sincere question about conflicting doctrine or policy
2. Be chided and mocked that your faith is not strong enough to see through the problem, or...
3. Be accused of being a troll/wolf in sheep's clothing and get banned.

Interesting to see if they really give a rip about people who have questions.
Tapirs... Yeah... That's the ticket!

Here is a transcript of the ad.
Female Voice: My Sister is really struggling with her testimony. She came across a website with claims about the church that upset her.
Female Voice: I'm hoping you can help me with an issue that's been bothering me. A friend of mine told me to contact FAIR.
Male Voice #1: Never before in the history of the church has misinformation been so readily available to it's members. Through the internet, false and misleading information gains equal ground with faithful teachings causing an equally unprecedented need for well researched answers to the claims of the church's critics. The foundation for apologetic information and research was formed to meet this increasing need. Known today as FAIR it boasts the largest repository of faithful answers to critical questions raised by the critics of the church.
Female Voice: FAIR was important to me because I found that that intelligent and reasonable people believed in Mormonism and expressed their faith in it on the FAIR website.
Male Voice #1: Find out more at FairLDS.org you can also submit a question directly at FairLDS.org and FAIR volunteers will help when you or a loved one are struggling with difficult questions about the church. That's FairLDS.org.

Of course critical information is described as "false and misleading."

Certainly can't be trusted to keep inquiries and inquirers confidential.

She came across a website with claims about egg crapping rabbits that upset her by showing attempts at breeding chickens with rabbits and another showing vets transplanting the egg bear parts of a chicken into a living rabbit. All of the rabbits died.
Female Voice: I'm hoping you can help me with an issue about eating eggs crapped out of a rabbit that's been bothering me. A friend of mine told me to contact ECR.org .
