That is a load of baloney. He's entitled to his position and his "pet philosophies" don't put the "tax exempt status" of the church at stake. By definition, individual members, bishops and stake presidents can have their little petty opinions. I have mine. You have yours.
I don't agree with the position that one has to be a Republican to be a good member of the Church, but I did change political parties to the Republicans last year, so maybe he's right.

And neither does bcspace, bcspace philosophy mingle with scripture is that any line of thinking on the left, puts one in direct opposition to God and the gospel. From bcspace postings one can gather that all persons whose any degree of political ideology is considered "left" or "liberal" is not in good standing with God or the Gospel.
