I was expecting a disaffected Mormon to say that Romney would be a mere puppet, but she wasn't going there because she obviously so disagreed. So, you ended up really saying little.
She didn't go there, but neither did I, if you'll remember. In fact, I stated several times today that when push came to shove, I thought Romney would probably not respond to hypothetical pressure from Salt Lake. Each of these interviews had a different tone. Some wanted to talk about Mormons for an audience that didn't know much (mainly in the east), and other wanted to talk about politics, while still others focused on the books. I'm only giving my view, but I doubt you listened to that and thought, gee, here's an angry ex-Mormon who hates Romney.
As to your reasons for leaving, I am a little curious. Your blog seemed to indicate that you were living off the largess of a friend in Hawaii. Maybe I read more into your comment about that. Have you ever published your reasons for leaving somewhere?
Hawaii? You've got the wrong guy. I live in New England and make my living as a full time writer.
Oh, wait, you were talking about
this post. Hah, no I was on vacation. My parents have a share in a beach house in Laie, a few blocks from the temple, and they finally got the whole clan out there at once by paying everyone's way.
