The reason for this posts is to simply show that the Mormon Church is in a Utah State Supreme Court case where they are afraid of the Plaintiff's claims.

Everyone who wants to understand what the Mormon Church really cherishes should read these two Briefs. Despite their VERY public claims of doing more for Sex Abuse Victims than ANY OTHER Organization, when they are being sued, they threaten to do away with the HELP LINE if the Plaintiff prevails in court. This shows their VERY VERY Corporate side and belittles their supposed Christian side. It is and always has been about the MONEY!

Look, I know that there are bishops out there who are creeps, but there are also bishops who are good men, who are fathers, who would do anything to make sure that no harm came to a child.

Several posters on this board served as bishops, and were fantastic bishops. Jason Bourne comes to mind immediately.

Lets see, 34% of all Boy Scout Troops are sponsored by the Mormon Church and yet only 2% of the Known Child Sex Abusers are Mormons? Sounds like a cover up to me.

Possibly, but we should also take into account the church calls people to be scout masters as apposed to people volunteering.
