Course not. You've misunderstood, my good man.

The goal of 1000 posts is not only now within sight, but probably doable before GC starts in 23 1/2 hours!

I think it's a sad commentary on the intellectual and ethical bankruptcy of Mormontology that when all the ludicrous ad hoc excuses have been exhausted, the only thing left is to become a pathetic, transparent troll.

It seems to me that stem is purposefully trying to derail and stifle. And for just one troll, he's accomplished quite a bit actually.

Also considering the derailing and stifling is taken up by those who are attacking me.

But, no, you are way way off on your theory about me.

Why would your pathetic, transparent tollishness be considered commentary on mormonsim? Your commentary on Mormonism is the least thoughtful and successful commentary I've ever read--as you've spiced some of your posts here with such nonsense.

stemelbow wrote:So let's get this back on topic again, I know its tough to do so for you.

I deserve to be outed because I come here to comment on the topic only to have you and others complain relentlessly about me. Everybody Wang Chung does not deserve to be found out a liar because he is on your team?

Great. It's all come together again.

Your deliberate distortions of what I say are only highlighting the fact that you're being disengenuous. You do realize that, don't you? Anyhow, I actually wanted to commend you for giving your "yes" and "no" responses. I'd like to see more of that from you. I also wanted to commend you for admitting that what the bishop did broke the letter of the law, even though you don't think it broke the spirit of the law. I completely disagree of course, but that's more than anyone else has admitted so far.

By the way, I've never given an opinion on whether Everybody Wang Chung should be found out a liar. I don't really care about any of that at all, to be honest. And I've never spoken to Everybody Wang Chung at all, so it's kind of a stretch to put us on the same "team" don't you think? If you guys could find a way to find out if Everybody Wang Chung was lying about going on the trip without violating the privacy of the members of your church (and, if not every person who's name was checked was a Mormon, then you're in an even worse scenario) and the people who went on the trip, heck, I would read the resulting threads. I'm sure there would be plenty good drama to be had there.

Another sad commentary on Mormontology is that "I know you are, but what am I?" is the sum total of its moral philosophy.

(Note also how stemelbow continues to conflate this little meta-cult he is in with the bigger picture of the Latter Day Saint Movement.)

Stem,
What do you believe you're accomplishing? Do you think that annoying people until they insult you makes you a martyr somehow or that they do it because your a Mormon?

How about you drop the passive agressive trolling act and explain yourself?

PS If you keep up the charade and act like this question is me persecuting you, I'm putting you on ignore.

ATTENTION

Call it a hunch. Call it a feeling. Call it whatever you want, but I think if we all work together as a team and push this thread over 1000 comments, great things are going to happen.

Maybe some critical mass will be reached in mankind's collective conscious. Sort of like the "Hundredth Monkey Effect": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundredth_monkey_effect

Maybe after 1000 posts DCP will humble himself and apologize to Chino Blanco? Maybe Droopy's posts will become intelligible? Maybe [deleted] will finally meet Stemelbow and bcspace? Maybe Will Schryver will publish? Maybe, just maybe, 1000 will finally herald in the Second Coming?

Who knows. All I do know is that great things are coming if we can reach 1000.
