This is a record I actually own. It is an early Victor Orthophonic (electric) recording by Paul Whitman from 1925. I'd play it on a Victrola floor model and then I'd play some Moody Blues ---- my music tastes have always ran rather eclectic. :ugeek:

I don't know how long this site will last but this is unbelievable and it's worth checking out this very, very, very, rare machine. You may never get an opportunity to see one ever again... Scan down and you can actually hear a see this thing in action :surprised:

Just in case you didn't realize it, this machine is not electric, it is acoustic and runs by a mainspring.

I really like that song and Bobby Darin also did a version of it (English of course). This is another pretty song that sometime made me shed a tear even though I was a little boy when it came out.
