What Obama did wasn't abnormal or unprecedented. Roughly 30% of all ambassadorship appointments are political appointments. Qualifications for an ambassador aren't as stringent as they are for a Federal judges. Also, Ambassadors typically serve for 3 years, whereas a judge is a judge for life. The man Trump picked is an absolute moron when it comes to basic law, but you're cool with him being a judge for life. He was picked because he was young, religious and he's a die-hard Republican. You're just damned stupid as all get out huh.

OK, thanks for making that correction. The kindergarten children were giggling about it.

Back to your question... ("Assumes that one had the money to invest under Obama...")

1. On the day Obama was inaugurated, why wouldn't you have had any money to invest? Your cash would not have been subject to anything "under Obama". We were just coming off of a Republican Presidency. You do know how American elections work, correct? And what would have been your excuse for not being flush with cash from the Republican Boom Times?

2. Why would a person need to be rich to invest in any small amount of stock?

Um, that's actual not a question...it's more of an observation on the inadequacy of your post. Seems like even kindergarten children, let alone grammar nazis, could recognize question marks....and lack of.

Maybe some Repub voters were like Democrat voters of 2016, but instead of lighting their hair on fire, they burned all their disposable cash.

See above

Exactly what an old rich white person would say.

That's not much of an answer as to why no-one would have had any money to invest. It's also terrible investment advice. Is this how you manage your assets?

OK, looks like you can neither answer the question nor troll very effectively. Not only that, way to go with implying that folks with very little money are completely incapable of investing even small amounts as they work towards bettering their economic situation. Next, you'll probably start prattling on about white plantations, or something.

You need to get over being angry because you followed the advice of your conservative websites and converted all of your cash into survival seed kits right after Obama was elected in 2009, and missed out on tripling your money in the market.

"Trump judicial nominee Matthew Petersen pulls out after struggling to answer basic questions"

I'm glad to see that he won't be serving but part of me wishes he had gone through with it, just so we could get some more juicy clips of him looking a fool. I'm just imagining some lawyer making up some rule or standard to get their way and Petersen just nodding along "oh yeah, I've totally heard of that thing".
