Schmo wants the borders between countries to be no different that the borders between states. How is that not open borders?
You're either allowed to enforce the border or not. If your idea of border enforcement is when push comes to shove, we have to back down lest anyone get hurt, that's not enforcing the border and in such a case you might as well have open borders because you really have lost your sovereingty at that point.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

I favor making petty theft illegal, but I do not favor allowing people to be executed in the streets by law enforcement for petty theft. This does not mean I favor legalizing theft. It means I have a sense of what is proportional to the offense. Equating not favoring your enforcement regime, which is truly monstrous, with wanting "open borders" is fallacious in exactly the same way. To the extent you get the error in your reasoning, and I think you do at least somewhat, it's just flat out dishonest.

You're welcome. :-)
You were optimistic, because you thought that he was an adult.

The one thing ajax and Drumpf have in common is a belligerence against what they know is reality. They talk to feel real; I can't think of any other purpose for it.
But in the end, neither of them should be taken seriously by rational people. They exist in a world of BS.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

But you don't favor letting people ultimately keep the stuff they stole, right? Or do you?

Dude you really have to stop reading too much InfoWars.
Ajax gets his "news" from reading Breitbart.com and by listening to Rush and Hannity.
Ajax didn't address the Post where I stated that Trump while campaigning promised that he would not cut SS, Medicaid and Medicare. If McCain voted to repeal Obamacare, Medicaid would have been cut. About 400,000 individuals in Arizona (McCain's state) here would have lost their health care coverage if that happened.

The US shouldn't celebrate a senator that voted for the Iraq invasion. As of right now McCain is still worse than Donald Trump. McCain knew that Iraq was not a threat to the US.
I don't believe that one bad vote by McCain makes him worse than Trump. Joe Biden also voted for it back then, and Obama ended up choosing Biden as the Vice President for eight years. Link
