Since polygraphs are now not considered reliable, unless of course it's done by a Democrat operative, I suppose we can ignore the questions that are posed during one (like, 'have you ever committed a felony' for example).

Personally I'm not much a fan of polys and that has been my position for some time. Are you of the opinion it isn't reasonable to have the FBI do a Hill-style follow up just to be sure? I figure this has to go til at least Thursday as we wait for testimony, why not do a little leg work while we wait?
You mean go on a fishing expedition? I don't see why that's necessary when anyone else can reach out, tweet, post a Facebook message, write a memo, or whatever. The other thing is you have to look at it from the FBI's point of view. Are they conducting a background investigation, or are they conducting a criminal probe? Kavanaugh, say he were guilty of groping and manhandling teen Ford, isn't guilty of rape or even attempted rape unless he just ups and admits he was trying to penetrate her. What, exactly, is the FBI investigating if it's not a felony? Why can't the local PD conduct an investigation? Oh, that's right, Ms. Ford hasn't filed a report.
So. Trump isn't going to order the FBI to question people about the allegations.
The MD Gov isn't going to order his State police to do it.
Ms. Ford hasn't filed a report where the alleged assault took place (is it because she has no idea where it happened?).
We're stuck with shaky allegations where people she said that were there deny it happened, she can't remember basic deatils like how she got there or back or with whom, and the FBI, even if they somehow moved forward with this, has what, exactly, to work with?
