So Trump tweeted that we're not leaving Iraq until Iraq pays us money. DOes this mean he doesn't consider Iraq a sovereign nation, and that we're not an occupying force against their will?

The Republican party is starting to lean hard into parlaying recent news into portraying Democrats as pro-Iran traitors. At the same time, nary a peep from Republican leaders on the President promising war crimes and to usurp Constitutional authority.
Trump is a serious problem, but the Republican party is a more serious problem that will outlive him. I don't see our way out of this.

So you expect Bolton will perjure himself for the momentary pleasure of a war-starting political assassination?

What are going to be the actual consequences for perjury in the Senate at this point? Anything?
I still want to hear from Bolton et. al. And I especially want to hear from their paper trails. But I'm under no illusions that people with a reputation for shameless dishonesty will neccessarily tell the truth under oath.

About as fair as seperate but equal.
No sir it isn't blatant discrimination. You see right there on the sign, it clearly says seperate and equal! Therefore it can't be a euphamism for paritisan or racial discrimination! Checkmate!
Its just so odd. The sophistry you all use is so obviously erronous i can't believe that even you believe it.

What’s the totalitarian socialism I desire?

Ahhh, the classic right-wing "I'm a damned ignoramus" tell... accusing people who call Trump a moron of being socialist.
Try describing what socialism is, then you have a shot at people taking you seriously (well, probably not any more - you've already said too much to be taken seriously. But then again, it doesn't seem like you care if anyone takes you seriously, so what do you have to lose?)

Anyway. Here we are. We’ve seen what Trump’s base is, and what kind of man they vote into office:

This is a sincere question, how can a country with adult voters voting in a democratic election process, vote in Donald Trump to be President? You’d be better off with a potato as President.

We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')
