Yes. Doc is cherry picking sensational tweets. I showed how he got punked by a known liar (at least around here). But what he’s posting is in no way close to an accurate portrayal of what’s going on in the zone. Because of some very motivated individual, isolated tweets are a poor source unless you take the time to investigate the account.

I dunno, it’s kind of hard keeping my Twitter ducks in a row.

Doc, there is no raincity161 account. There never was. Andy Ngo made it up, even copying from the Seattle Antifacist Twitter account to try and fool credulous people like you. As soon as Andy was shown retweeting a fake tweet from a nonexistent account, locals who pay attention to this stuff understood what was going on.This is is a thing Seattle will handle just fine if folks like you and Trump stop whipping up hysteria about it.

Denver School Board votes unanimously to remove the Denver Police from schools

The school board in Denver, Colorado, voted unanimously on Thursday to remove the Denver Police Department from their schools.

The plan will be to phase out four of the police officers by the end of December 31, 2020. On June 4, 2021, the remaining 13 police officers at Denver Public Schools will be phased out, board of education member Tay Anderson told CNN.

“We already have your own safety and security department to patrol our schools,” Anderson said.

I'm not picking on you. I'm actually struck that the police presence in the US is so ubiquitous and accepted, it sounds like a bad idea to you to remove them from schools!

I think I saw a police officer in my school maybe twice total growing up, and one of them was in an assembly about the local police.

- America is about freedom
- Freedom includes owning a gun
- The easy accessibility of guns makes others scared
- Ubiquitous fear drives a desire for more police
- Police doing work they shouldn't be doing reduces American freedom

Schools don't need more police. America needs less fuc-king guns.
