Why not just say it's a parody of Running Up that Hill by Kate Bush used in Stranger Things?

For the same reason I don’t tell them punch line of a joke before the set up. Part of what I wanted to share was the initial “what the heck is this?” that I felt when I stumbled upon that little bit of weirdness. But I couldn’t link and run, so I tried to describe without spoiling the effect. I don’t think it landed, but them’s the breaks.
