Jenn Kamp Files Lawsuit Against John Dehlin

That’s ex post facto target shooting. No one knows how any of his hires presented before hand.

We know that John hired Rosebud, after coming onto her via text and after Rosebud explicitly asked him to stop pursuing her romantically.

We know that John hired Amy Grubbs, who quit after (we don't know what because John put her under NDA and still won't let her talk), and a board member resigned as a result of the debacle.

We know that John hired Jenn Kamp, who ended up suing him and accusing him of inappropriate behavior.

Meanwhile, John has been caught at least once Instagram stalking women.

We know that John also makes a big spectacle of denying any accusation that he has ever been inappropriate with a female employee.

It may be ex post facto target shooting. As was the case with Harvey Weinstein. Now, I'm not accusing John of the level of abuse that Weinstein was found guilty of, but ex post facto target shooting is often the way people with a problem the nature of John's are eventually exposed.

I'm curious how you don't see a pattern in the above? You don't have to think Rosebud is all there to think that John still acted inappropriately with her from a workplace standard.

No one is saying they didn’t end up being “overly emotional, vulnerable.” I’m just saying, “No one knows how any of his hires presented before hand.” You were closer to this outfit than any of us, so saying “no one” might be overstating the facts. Whatever the case may, I stand by my peanut gallery assessment, and think he or the Open Stories Foundation should get away from hiring stans en lieu of hiring professionals for paid positions.

So its your positions that RFM is positive towards John just for the money? I Don't know Conig personally but in my interactions with him over the years, long before he started podcasting, I found him to be a fairly honest and balanced person. Listening to his podcasts only has confirmed that. I don't think he wouod support John simply for the money.

My position is that RFM is overly positive towards John because he wants to build his podcasting into a career, and being aligned to (and showing allegiance to) John makes that much more likely.

The list of people whose careers have either been launched or extended by John is pretty long. The list of enemies John has who are successfully podcasting in the ex-Mormon sphere is...welll...I'm not sure if there are any.

What does "Instagram stalking" look like?

This is not new news, we've talked about this here before (with screenshots). He goes on women's Instagram profiles and likes a bunch of their photos, especially ones with bathing suits and likes them all within a very short period of time.

He had a weird thing about pursuing women he shouldn't.

You must poison the well often, and think you’re clever. He’s literally acting as a journalist with regard to the murder cover up story. Sometimes he’s acting as a polemicist. Sometimes he’s an entertainer. Why are you so rigid in your understanding of the world you need to put everyone into tidy little mislabeled boxes? I think that rattling sound you hear in your head is a loose screw. Best you tighten it up before you step on your dick again.
