Trump broke the law. You’re mad because he had to go to court for breaking the law, and you want to prosecute the people who applied the law, because you like the lawbreaker.
Yours is an interesting standard.
Both of them have marginalized themselves by being kooks. They peddle fringe narratives. Thanks for mentioning Tulsi Gabbard. I saw a post on X today from Marianne Williamson. Both of these two ladies were pushed out by the far-right and far-left because they didn't fit into the fringe narrative. I actually think Trump is lucky to have her at his side. Will she be gone when she sees the writing on the wall.? Who knows - I hope she stays and Trump gets an earful from her at times. This video runs for a little more than two minutes:
It's not just my standard. The American people have rendered their verdict. Your punishment for weaponizing the justice department against Trump and his supporters was the results of this election.
Good point. The first outbreak of open fascism is bound to start somewhere. Deadly suppression of descent is inevitable, although I think the first deaths will be on the immigration front.
I deny that Trump was prosecuted for his crimes based only on his politics. There is real and compelling evidence of his misdeeds, enough to convince a Jury of his peers of his guilt. If other businessmen have been guilty of similar misdeeds, they should have been indicted and prosecuted for them as well, and I doubt that can show me that none of them have been. Besides that, Trump, as a prominent leader, is or should be obligated to adhere to a higher standard of ethics and obedience to the laws of the country and its Constitution than any ordinary Americans, and deserves, if anything, tougher and harsher penalties than anyone else guilty of the same misdeeds. By failing to be an unwavering example of abiding by the laws, he incentivizes his followers and sycophants to also break the laws whenever they find it convenient to do so. Is that so hard for you to understand?ajax18 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 8:50 pmIf you think every businessman in New York was treated the same way Donald Trump was by Latisha James and Judge Engeron than I can only concluded that you are blinded to reality by partisanship. If you think everyone who paid hush money to a porn star in New York was prosecuted just as Donald Trump, I just can't understand it any different than you think it's ok to target people if you disagree with their politics in order to deny a majority of the America people the chance to vote for him. To me that's just antidemocratic. We'll never agree on that.
Show me somewhere that conservatives have targeted liberals based on their politics. I never have been a fan of censoring liberals or locking up our political opponents. But I do believe in firing and even prosecuting those who carried on the partisan political weaponization of the justice department.
You need to make sure you have a military command that completely supports you before more serious fascist actions are taken. Clear out any democracy-prone officers.Trump's transition team is compiling a list of current and former U.S. military officers for possible courts-martial.

Suppression of dissent is already bad enough; suppression of descent is even worse but may be inevitable if conservatives' denial of the dangers of climate change result in rendering our planet uninhabitable for our species. The denial of the realities of human caused climate change is every bit as irrational as the public and governmental reaction to the coming, earth-destroying asteroid in the Netflix movie Don't Look Up. It is also even dumber and far more dangerous than belief in the flat earth model.
Thank you for this information, canpakes. I’m sure that the reasons I didn’t get some of these was due to mass immunizations. I think everyone in my age group got the chickenpox. I’m not sure of the measles. But in my youth I remember the concern with “German measles” and pregnant women. Then recently there was the virus in Brazil that caused significant concern for pregnant women.canpakes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 4:50 pmyellowstone123 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 4:08 pmJust curious: does RFK want to eliminate all vaccines, like polio, measles etc. There were a four of five that were needed to get me into kindergarten in the fall of 1966. I hear there are something like two to three times that amount now. I did get some type of booster later on at the end of elementary school. What diseases did I miss getting by only getting those basics in the mid '60s. Is someone making money with those additional vaccines being added?
Here’s the schedule, Yellowstone. This image is not as crisp as what’s available at the website, so you might want to check it out from the source, as there’s also an explanation given for what each vaccination is for:
