Since America will never recover its former glory, does it really need its most prestigious university?WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration revoked Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students in its escalating battle with the Ivy League school, saying thousands of current students must transfer to other schools or leave the country.
Harvard enrolls almost 6,800 foreign students at its campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, accounting for more than a quarter of its student body. Most are graduate students, coming from more than 100 countries.

Lol, crush Harvard? That would be like crushing Ensign Peak.
Harvard endowment 53 billion....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvard_U ... _endowment
Ensign Peak 56 Billion
https://www.sltrib.com/religion/2024/11 ... th-ensign/
Both are basic hedge fund corp's
Both file f13 forms (Harvard does a better job filling them out)
https://stockzoa.com/fund/harvard-manag ... e_vignette
https://whalewisdom.com/filer/ensign-peak-advisors-inc
Both pay little taxes
Harvard promotes antisemitism
Ensign Peak thinks they are Jews
Boy that should crush them, huh?The Trump administration asked federal agencies Tuesday to cancel contracts with Harvard University worth about $100 million.

My days of not trusting in the Lord are over.would leave the church if its President and Prophet ever expressed any serious criticism of Trump as a person or his policies.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

https://www.harvard.edu/task-force-on-antisemitism/
On April 29, 2025, President Alan M. Garber reaffirmed Harvard’s strong resolve to continuing to take action on recommendations put forward by the Presidential Task Force on Combating Antisemitism and Anti-Israeli Bias. This work is focused on nurturing a widespread sense of belonging and promoting respectful dialogue; revising and implementing policies, procedures, and training; and strengthening academic and residential life.
Beginning in spring 2024, the Task Force engaged across the University to learn and inform how to best address instances of bias on campus and create a community where everyone can thrive. Many of the University’s actions and initiatives began in the last academic year and were also guided by the Task Force’s preliminary recommendations released in June 2024. Harvard will continue to advance this work going forward, in alignment with final recommendations released on April 29, 2025.

Re: Trump and Harvard
To bolster your claim that Harvard ‘promotes antisemitism’, you posted a link to a program, begun last year at Harvard, to identify and combat antisemitism.Markk wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 1:25 amhttps://www.harvard.edu/task-force-on-antisemitism/

That’s a bold move, Cotton.

Disagreement with a genocide is not antisemitic, and by the way Arabs are semites.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Re: Trump and Harvard
Which was spin, and Harvard did not really do much, and it was not until Trump threatened them with funds being taken away did Harvard take it more serious, but again you probably know that. If you did not know, then you have not been following what has been going on there. There is a group of over 60 faculty and staff members, ironically called "Harvard Faculty and Staff Members for Justice in Palestine."
https://www.harvardfsjp.org/statement
You can even join the group and stand behind these Harvard Faculty members in there antisemitism.....just go to the bottom of the page from the link I gave you and click on the membership link and you to can join, real time, "The Harvard Faculty and Staff Members for Justice in Palestine."
Were you aware that this organization exists? It seems to me if they are serious in truly protecting their campus and name they would take legal action against this group and fire them immediately.

Re: Trump and Harvard
Of course, the big lie here is that Trump cares about anti-semitism at all. To him, anti-semitism is just something else he can cynically use as a weapon. His movement has plenty of anti-semites. He really doesn't care. What Trump's use of anti-semitism is about is what he does in any situation, choose whichever lie will give him the leverage to attack the people he has identified as his enemies.Markk wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 12:30 pmWhich was spin, and Harvard did not really do much, and it was not until Trump threatened them with funds being taken away did Harvard take it more serious, but again you probably know that. In a healthy intellectual environment, one that would ultimately benefit everyone, one can seriously criticize the nation state of Israel and not have some people dishonestly conflate that with anti-semitism. Here is the logical problem: on the one hand, one can be an anti-semite and for that reason attack Israel's policies, but that does not make everyone who criticize Israel's policies an anti-semite.
You either get that, or you don't. If you don't, then you are slow or you are consciously adopting vicious propaganda.
"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”
