The video presents statistics indicating that overall crime in Chicago has significantly decreased, with robbery, a key concern, dropping by 45%.

The graphic actually says 41%, but that's okay.

Although I'm no fan of Donald Trump, and I was very concerned about the violation of the posse comitatus law when the National Guard was first deployed, I must say that this huge reduction of crime is VERY satisfying. I haven't heard any reports of any civilians being roughed up by National Guard troops, so it appears that their mere presence as extra eyes and ears alone has been enough to reduce crime by a very significant amount.

Any time law-abiding citizens (regardless of skin color) can go about their lives without fear of being victimized, ESPECIALLY if they're not used to being able to do so, makes me damn near EUPHORIC. This is AWESOME!!

No that’s ICE’s job. They’re just the military patrolling a city in the United States like an occupying force in direct violation of 150ish years of legal precedence, but if 41% less people reported robbery in the last two months, the results speak for themselves. There’s no way this could set a precedent for something dramatically worse in the future.

ICE and CPB, with help from friendly local authority, are asking to see papers. In some cases, they’re carting folks off without even giving people the chance to produce them. From Boston:

ICE and local authorities have been aggressive with protests and have worked to either break many up, or instigate a conflict in order to justify attacking. From Colorado:
