Consider writing in a more compelling way if you want or deserve or feel entitled to a response. Just a thought.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 10:19 amI’m disappointed that MG chose to introduce the situation as an excuse for not having the time to respond to Limnor’s response to his baseless assertions, even though his posting record shows he had plenty of time to respond. And, as I’ve pointed out, MG’s story doesn’t quite add up. Again. I make no apology for doing that. If someone introduces a personal subject to a thread as an excuse for not responding, then that anecdote is fair game for scrutiny. He could have just privately DM’d Limnor to explain why he hadn’t responded. But he didn’t. He chose to go for the full board’s attention.

Yes, my wife spent a lot of time with her mother along with her sister. I also supported them many times during the weeks previous to her passing. My wife's injuries were due to a six car accident on the freeway that left her with manageable injuries. Yes, I have had free time. I run/walk/read/eat/poop and post here. I may do some other things along the way like Costco runs and visit/be with family and grandkids. In other words, I live life and manage my time. I don't need to have random posters tell me whether or not I'm managing my time appropriately.Physics Guy wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 9:17 amLooking after a convalescent can easily leave enough free time to make a few posts. If my wife were uncomfortable but safely getting better...
Point of interest. My wife ran into a police vehicle (he was at fault) that had jackknifed up ahead of her on the freeway. She plowed into him at 70 miles per hour without ever having a chance to hit the brakes (she was in a Subaru/tank thankfully). Broken sternum, fractured C-7 and severe air bag burns/contusions. And yep, I have time and am taking time to take care of her. I can post here now and then without having to delay anything important or not take any time to poop, etc.
I even have time to go out on a walk before going to church later this morning.
Stop with the judgements, will ya' ? (Not you PG...I'm referring to another poster or two who consistently try to be 'know it all nannies' and more than likely will continue to do so)

Okay, so your excuse to Limnor that you hadn’t replied because of an enforced absence from posting due to being busy was a lie.MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 4:07 pmYes, my wife spent a lot of time with her mother along with her sister. If a driver ploughs into the back of another vehicle at 70 miles an hour, it’s not the vehicle ahead that was at fault. I’m inclined to think that your Christmas tale is either wholly, or in part, untrue.

You're like my brother-in-law. A nice guy. Means well. But a dipsh*t.
All the best, but you're out of your league when it comes to intellectual discussion with most people around here.

Many drivers, alas, do not observe the precautionary principle of driving as if the driver in front of them might (for instance) suddenly jam on the brakes, so that it is wise to leave a stopping distance that allows one to stop before hitting the other vehicle. This does sound like one of those cases.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 5:16 pmIf a driver ploughs into the back of another vehicle at 70 miles an hour, it’s not the vehicle ahead that was at fault. Help is on the way...
This sound like a personal problem in need of a couple of upgrades. What brand toilet paper are you currently using? You see, not all toilet paper is of the same class. Cleanup time can vary depending on the king of paper you use. And, let me tell you that I have two bathrooms and both toilets are fully equipped with add-on bidets which is the difference between night and day when dealing with poop. If you don't have bidets, then you might want to consider installing them, especially at your age when it becomes much harder to navigate the toilet -- bend, stoop, lift, whatever it takes. Think about it. I'm giving you wonderful advice that could change your life and keep you cleaner.

My condolences. It truly is a bittersweet moment. But on the bright side, you’ve now lost your favorite alibi for not obeying the leaders and serving that mission. With your mother-in-law now in Spirit Paradise, the only thing standing between you and your mission is, well... you.
Fair point on my delivery. However, my insensitivity stems from the fact that Fibber treats the truth like a suggestion rather than a requirement. Since his family (and mother-in-law) is currently enjoying perfectly good health, despite Fibber's creative claims to the contrary, I found it hard to play along with this fiction that Fibber is trying to create.

Here are the details that MG has shared about the incident he says his wife was involved in.Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 7:19 pmMalkie,

Major Auto Accident on I-15
Six vehicles involved.
Happened December 6th 2025
Six cars involved
Police vehicle involved.
Police vehicle impacted by a Subaru travelling at high speed that ploughed into the back of it.
Police vehicle had ‘jack knifed’ - so would need be a car plus trailer or articulated truck of some sort (MG describes it as a “six car” pile up…).
No mention of how the police driver is. A Subaru smashing into you at 70mph is liable to wipe your car out and likely kill or seriously maim you.
https://www.1800law1010.com/blog/speed- ... ow%2020%25.Head-on collisions at 60 mph or more often result in fatal injuries. In many cases, survival is unlikely even in well-built, modern vehicles.
Crashes at just 40 mph can cause severe trauma — including internal injuries, broken bones, and traumatic brain injuries.
I’m guessing such a massive incident made the news.

Re: Merry Christmas!!
I will respond to this post. As I said, the police car had jackknifed into her lane. His vehicle (he was off duty) was either number two or number three in line...we don't know at this point. He had not allowed himself enough space in the lane he was in and in the process of whatever happened ended up spinning into the lane my wife was traveling in (different lane than the other cars). My wife hit the passenger back side of the vehicle. Thankfully, he was unharmed. At the scene with multiple witnesses he admitted fault for being in the wrong place which then created the crash situation.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 5:16 pmIf a driver ploughs into the back of another vehicle at 70 miles an hour, it’s not the vehicle ahead that was at fault. IHQ, this is exactly why I will NOT respond or communicate with you. You take it upon yourself to be judge, jury, and executioner. In the past you have not been worthy of my time and you are not worthy of my time even now...except for the fact that I need to call you out. There have been multiple other times over a long period of time (track record) where you take it upon yourself to be the 'all knowing' judge (and know-it-all). Many times when I asked questions you gave little or no response. You know that is true.
You make inaccurate assumptions and then 'pile on'.
My 'natural man' wants to call you a _____________________ (fill in blank)...but I will forebear.
There could be some good discussions if you and at least one other I could name didn't act like such____________________ (fill in blank)
I will not go back and forth with you on this matter any further. You can have the floor and say whatever __________ (fill in blank) thing you want. You're not worth my time dude.
