I’m sorry; being not-so-white looking, he was detained at the border and no one has seen him since being tossed into an ICE van.

Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

I would like to urge recent participants in this thread to avoid giving 'in real life' details on the board - which can be read by anybody, and may help them to find out who you are and where you live.
This is a public space, and sad to say there are people in the online world who delight in harassing strangers for no particular reason apart from the fact it makes them feel powerful - I suspect that most of them have sad and empty lives, but that is not our problem.
I would suggest you (in particular Quantum and Jersey) delete any posts that identify you, such as those that indicate where you live and what church you attend. If you want to chat one to one, use the board's facilities to send one another private messages (PMs).
Edited for typo

And? What if I mistake a brain glitch for a supernatural experience? How could anyone tell me what I saw was true or false? Most people don’t believe other people’s claims of a supernatural experience. For example, do you accept Smith’s claim that he saw and interacted with Nephi Jesus Christ, angels, God, and a Dark PresenceTM? Lots of people make lots of claims and stick to their story for lots of reasons. And The SpiritTM , a.k.a. themselves, confirms (or doesn’t) for lots of people.Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2026 7:45 pmYou might have a supernatural experience yourself one day.
If religion does it for you, it should be a personal relationship with a greater thing, not something you swing around wildly in an attempt to control the world around you. That’s your thing, not theirs.

Do you believe his stories? For years, Gregg Phillips — now a senior FEMA official — has told stories that blur the boundary between the ordinary and the supernatural.
A dead girlfriend once lifted his car off the road to avoid a crash. Satan once spoke to him while he walked across Spain. After collapsing inside an Indianapolis Lowe’s, he came to in a McDonald’s parking lot across the street with 15,000 steps logged on his health app, a Big Mac in his lap, and little understanding of what had just happened.

As apposed to this piece of pure speculation one might think Paul was reflecting standard Jewish attitudes toward Greeks and Romans and other nonjews. Now I can see speculating about Paul having homosexual desires is a possible speculation. I rather doubt that Paul hated himself.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2026 7:47 pmThis was Paul processing his natural sexual attraction to Tertius. He was trying to make sense of his sexuality in a world that wasn’t enlightened. He hated himself for it and that comes out in his personal blog/opinion piece, now referred to as “Romans”.Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2026 5:20 pmRomans 1:26
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Re: Split: Israel's judgement
Given that the IDF has destroyed the Church of Saint Porphyrius, the Byzantine Church of Jabalia, the St. Hilarion Monastery, and the Holy Family Church (where an IDF sniper had previously killed a mother and daughter when they were leaving worship), that might be a hard sell. Destroying various holy sites, including a site that has been used for worship, going back to when the Byzantines utilized it as a church in the early 5th century, probably doesn't help either.Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2026 9:38 pmOne possible solution for the Arab Israeli conflict is :
1. Get the IDF to hand out gospel tracts in Arabic to Palestinians.
The Palestinian Jews apparently can't go to Iran, given that Israel blew up the Rafi'nia Synagogue in Tehran with an airstrike last week.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 7:06 pmWhere should the Palestianian Jews go?Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 3:23 pmThese Palestinians have got so many Arab countries that they can go to.
