What makes this whole thing funny and entertaining, from my neverMo perspective, is that Peterson often writes from a seemingly lofty place, so when Gad or somebody else successfully gets under his skin, it punctures that image a little. I’m actually surprised he gets so visibly irritated by internet hecklers. You’d think responding would feel like punching below his weight. The added entertainment value is “The Before/Nolan” pretending to be a mediator while not especially subtle about what he’s doing.

Right. Everyone just needs to understand that whatever Peterson did probably wasn’t that bad. At least not “he ate your pets” bad, for goodness’ sake. The entirety of this board simply needs to repent and just call him and allow him the opportunity to forgive them. I can’t imagine why this is so difficult.

Maybe you haven't figured this out yet, but the particular exmormons that post to this board view Daniel Peterson as Satan himself. 25% of the post on this forum are about him. I have tried and I am still trying to figure it out, but not one board member here has given me a good explanation as to why they obsess over

I noticed an overrepresentation of posts and comments concerning Dan Peterson, The Afore, The Proprietor, etc., but I figured he had done something horrible to several members here in the past, like ate their pets or something. Or maybe it's penisneid. It’s none of my business, but either way, a simple phone call could solve this whole thing.

What you gotta understand about this place is that the progressive board members are here to reduce their stress level by insulting people especially anyone that is Mormon or supports Mormonism or just doesn't agree with their unhealthy disdain of Mormonism.

In the past week I've had two threads in Spirit Paradise dedicated to me, board members asking me questions, wanting a response, while at the same time telling me I'm on their ignore list. If you look back through the pages of this forum and take a look at how many threads are started about MG2.0 who is a devout Mormon, you'll start see a pattern of exmormons starting threads about individual board members with whom they disagree with! They start threads about Peterson, me, MG2.0, Ajax, Whiskey, Ceeboo because when they sign on to the board for the day, their mental well being from being an exmormon that hasn't dealt with internal trauma, is at, let's say a 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. And starting threads about me or Peterson, especially Peterson who these long time board members have literally made him their personal Satan, well, it reduces their angst and stress level down to let's say a 7 or so. So what you're watching as they post, is them in a free online therapy session letting go of stress by putting it on other people.

Now, get this, just so you know, there's a really good chance this post will be removed to a megathread that was started yesterday by the moderators that is dedicated to post like this, ones where I'm giving my opinion and because it hurts the exmormons on this board, you know, the ones that desire an echo chamber, they remove my post and put them in a megathread in Spirit Paradise!

You see, in their minds, they can insult me, Peterson, MG2.0 and others but I can't insult them back because I'm not part of the progressive exmormon cult club that comes here for "stress relief."

Take this thread for instance. It's one of thousands about Peterson! The poor guy can't say anything these bitter exmormons aren't willing to pick apart. They're like vultures on a carcass when it comes to Peterson. Take a look at the first post after the opening post! it's GadiSCAMton posing a "serious" question for Peterson! That's not a serious question! That's GadiSCAMton's hatred for Peterson being written down for all of us to read. I'm not kidding when I say these people have literally made Peterson their personal Satan! This thread is because Peterson apparently lost sleep over someone drinking a latte so a board member responded

Peterson can't do anything correct according to the exmormons here. And if he did they would still bash him over it because he is their personal Satan!

If I recall correctly, Sledge/Nolan/?/?/The Before began posting here after either getting banned from Sic et Non, or taking his ball and going home, due to constant conflict with the conservative posters there as Sledge who is/was a liberal on-the-fence Mormon. Did he ever pick up the phone and call his fellow comment section participants at SeN to resolve their differences? All it would have taken is a single phone conversation and he could be posting away in the SeN comment section in harmony with his peers, having all political differences resolved. It’s interesting, but also none of my business I guess. I am only here because of a W.S. thread (he’s my lolcow), and curiosity got the best of me. People are free to set up message boards or post online about whatever they want within the law. Dan appears to be a public figure, at least locally or regionally, and that’s the life of a public figure.

If there were truly an issue, a phone call or a lunch meeting could solve it, but I don’t think there is. I think humans like to complain.
