Do you think there's any paperwork given to the member after their second anointing? The LDS church loves paperwork (patriarchal blessing, baptism record, priesthood record, temple recommend, ect.)

Or is it a completely paperless transaction, so that members could never leak out the documents?

What's the basic differences between a 2nd anointing now compared to one in the past?

In answer to your first question, my experience going through the temple the first time was profound and life-changing. I was fully prepared to go, and I was not disappointed in regard to the transformative impact it had on my life.

Early on the SA gave those receiving it a maximal autonomy in priesthood matters, and this was taken out to make sure the LDS Church retained its hold on the person who received it.
